In the Reiki Ideal Meditation, you get a chance to settle into the powerful affirmations that shift you into a state of peace and happiness. The affirmations are from the Affirmation Ladders in my book, The Secret Art of Happiness: Change Your Life with the Reiki Ideals. The affirmation ladder process is a way of gently acknowledging how you feel and then raising your vibration just one tiny step up.

Just for today: let go of anger; let go of worry; be grateful; do your self-care work; be kind.

The Reiki Ideals are five principles that invite happiness into your life. The Reiki Ideals are simple, but applying them creates deep waves of change. In this meditation, you get to relax and let the affirmations wash over you, just letting them sink in and become part of your mind. It helps you access a state of peace, trust, gratitude, dedication and kindness.

Meditation Transcript

Take a deep breath. And release.

Gently close your eyes. Open your hands up, palms up to the sky and gently rest them on your lap. Settle them there as you soften your shoulders, your face, your belly, your toes, your eyes,

your breath, your breath, your breath.

Soften your breath. Become aware of your aura. The energy field surrounding your body. Breathe gently as you soften and brighten your aura all the energy you need is filling and clearing your aura now. You are radiant.

Become aware of the wisdom in your heart. Right in the core of you. Turn your gaze inward and see the divine spark of wisdom that resides there. Glowing, peaceful, kind, aware, worthy, grateful. Faithful.

Keep your inner gaze focused on your heart energy and observe how it grows and changes with each of these affirmations.

Love, peace, and understanding are always available to you. Each breath you breathe is a new chance. Love, peace, and understanding are always available to you. Each breath you breathe is a new chance.

You believe in you. The divine does too. You believe in you. The Divine does too.

You love your life. You appreciate all you have and all you are able to give. You are a generous and abundant in your gratitude. You love your life. You appreciate all you have and all you are able to give. You are generous and abundant in your gratitude.

You are filled with light, and with life, in every breath you breathe. You are filled with light, and with life, in every breath you breathe.

You love yourself; therefore, you are kind. You are kind; therefore, you are love. You love yourself; therefore, you are kind. You are kind; therefore, you are love.

Love is everywhere you look. It is all around you all the time. Love is everywhere you look. It is all around you all the time.

You know you are always safe and loved. The Divine is on your side. You know you are always safe and love. The Divine is on your side.

You are filled with appreciation for every aspect of your life. You are so lucky to be you. You are filled with appreciation for every aspect of your life. You are so lucky to be you.

You allow all good to flow to you now. You surrender to the stillness of the soul. You allow all good to flow to you now. You surrender to the stillness of the soul.

Take a deep breath. And release. Become aware of your body. Become aware of your aura.

Become aware of your aura, the energy field surrounding your body. All the energy you need is still filling and brightening your aura.

Rest easy in the knowledge that this process will continue for you for as long as you choose it. Become aware of your feet, your toes, your fingers. Wiggle them. Rub the palms of your hands together. Gently massage your head and neck. Give yourself a hug.

Bring your hands together. Palms together in Gassho. Smile from the inside out. And when you’re ready, you can open your eyes. Namaste.
